Wisdom seems hidden. Nay, invisible. Is this a reflection of our inability to perceive it or the nature of where wisdom comes from? Either way, following the natural affords only the material rewards - which are necessarily ephemeral. Thus, wisdom is in the unnatural - or in its own category. And we have to choose some degree of discomfort to be wiser. Perhaps we gain wisdom by seeking out discomfort. Just enough to grow.
You see what you look for. If you look for reasons you are wrong, you will find them. If you seek reasons why the world is beautiful, you will find them, too. This comes to a head when you let undesirable thoughts inform what you look for. Your brain likes to confirm what it hears. Choose carefully what you listen to. Guard your joy, your faith, your self, your soul.
